Start With a Scenic Morning Walk
Begin your visit with one of our three circular walks, all beginning literally from our front door:
Walk 1: Brockweir and the Wye (Easy)
A gentle route ideal for families, dog‑walkers or anyone who wants to enjoy Tintern’s beauty without too much climbing. Meander alongside the River Wye, take in sweeping Abbey views, and enjoy peaceful moments on flat, accessible paths.
Walk 2: The Angidy valley (Fairly easy)
If you’re looking for fresh air and elevated perspectives, this is the perfect middle-ground adventure. Climb gradually through woodland before reaching viewpoints where Tintern Abbey appears below like a postcard scene.
Walk 3: Offa’s Dyke and the Devil’s Pulpit (Moderate)
For the seasoned walker, this is the route that rewards. The walk takes you outward along an old tramway, with a highlevel return offering fabulous views.
