How do I book a table?
You can book a table by clicking the link below. We recommend booking ahead, particularly at weekends, during holidays and for Sunday carvery service.
Do I need to pay in advance?
While walk-ins are welcome, advance booking is recommended, especially for Sunday carvery and busy periods.
Can I amend or cancel my booking?
Yes. Please contact us as soon as possible if your plans change and we will do our best to help.

What food do you serve?
Our menu combines traditional pub favourites with modern contemporary dishes, using quality ingredients sourced wherever possible from local suppliers.
Do you serve Sunday lunch?
Yes. We serve our popular Sunday Carvery every Sunday from 12:00pm until 4:00pm and strongly recommend booking in advance.
Is the carvery only available on Sundays?
No. In addition to Sunday service, our popular carvery is also available on Saturdays.
Do you cater for dietary requirements?
Yes, we offer vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. Please advise us of any dietary requirements when booking or ordering.
Do you have a children’s menu?
Yes, we offer dishes suitable for younger diners and welcome families throughout the week.

Are dogs allowed?
Yes, we are very dog-friendly. Dogs are welcome in the bar area and pub garden and must be kept on a lead at all times.

Parking & Transport
Is there parking available?
Yes. We operate a large flat pay-and-display car park. An all-day parking ticket costs £5 and is fully redeemable against food and drink purchased at The Anchor Inn. Card payments are accepted.
How does the parking validation work?
When you purchase your parking ticket, you will receive a two-part ticket. One part should be displayed in your vehicle, and the other should be brought into the pub where it can be redeemed against your food and drink bill.
